Dr. Allah Bakhsh Malik is a former Federal Secretary, Government of Pakistan for Education and Health. He received the prestigious Confucius Award from UNESCO in 2011 for his leadership in promoting Education and Skill Development for underserved populations. The Government of the People’s Republic of China awarded him a ‘Certificate of Merit for his meritorious services in promoting affordable quality education in public-private partnerships.
Dr. Malik serves as an Honorary British Alumni Ambassador appointed by the British Council, focusing on promoting education and skills among the youth. He holds a Charles Wallace Trust Fellowship in Public Policy, Governance, and Economic Development from SOAS, University of London. Additionally, he was a Post-Doctoral Visiting Scholar in Economics of Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York, USA.
Dr. Malik obtained his PhD in Development Economics and Resource Mobilization and an MPhil in Economics and Politics of Development from Cambridge University, United Kingdom. He represented Pakistan and the Asia-Pacific region on the Board of Directors of the Global Partnership for Education at The World Bank,
